Teaching Assistant - Children & Young Persons Day Services

Responsibilities:



  • Support individuals with physical disabilities, autism, ADHD, complex communication needs, and other learning disabilities.




  • Facilitate mainstream activities within both the day centre and wider community.




  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support, creating fun and stimulating environments tailored to service users' needs.




Requirements:


  • Experience working in SEN or supported living environments.




  • Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to update).




  • Relevant certifications including:




    • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children




    • Understanding Learning Disabilities




    • Autism Awareness




    • GCSE English & Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent)
