We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join a Forensic Mental Health Team.

This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works to support adults with mental health issues mainly based in a low secure forensic setting or out in the community subject to S41 restrictions.

The Forensic team deal with some high profile cases and have to ensure they manage risk accordingly.

The day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out Mental Capacity assessments, Care Act assessments and arranging care packages and monitoring their effectiveness.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience is essential in order to be considered for this role.

Experience working in Mental Health is essential for this role.

You will need to show strong communication skills and ability to work in integrated services to be successful in this team.
