Holt Engineering are working with a Precision Engineering company based in Andover.

They're looking for a Basic Machine Operative to help within the production area with a willingness to learn and progress within a steadily growing engineering business.



The Basic Machine Operative is a Full time role working Monday to Friday. 

Paying from £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities for the Basic Machine Operative:

- Operate basic machinery under supervision

- Load and unload components to and from machines

- Carry out basic visual inspections 

- Follow technical drawings and work instructions

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

- Report any defects or issues to supervisors

- Support the wider production team as needed

Requirements for the Basic Machine Operative:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment

- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings 

- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills
