Executive Chef

Job Title: Executive chef - Multi-Venue operations
Salary: up to €5,800 gross per month based on experience

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Chef to lead and oversee the culinary operations across multiple restaurant locations.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of multisite leadership, a deep understanding of financial and operational performance, and an unwavering passion for excellence in food, service, and team development.

This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role responsible for maintaining culinary consistency, driving profitability, and ensuring each location meets brand standards while fostering innovation and culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and direct culinary operations across multiple restaurant concepts or units.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, menus, recipes, and quality standards to ensure consistency across locations.
  • Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership to define and execute long-term culinary strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and train Executive Sous Chefs and kitchen leadership teams at each location to drive performance and growth.
  • Monitor and manage food and labor costs, inventory controls, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
  • Analyze financial reports, P&Ls, and KPIs to identify trends, control costs, and maximize profitability across all restaurants.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards and local regulations.
  • Champion innovation in menu development while maintaining alignment with brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Support new restaurant openings, remodels, or operational transitions as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 8–10 years of culinary leadership experience, with at least 3 years overseeing multiple locations.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen with experience managing budgets, food cost, labor cost, and P&L accountability.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing kitchen teams across diverse environments.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Experience with multi-concept restaurant groups a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between sites.
