Teach Plus are currently working with a friendly, positive local community primary school based in Isleworth, Hounslow who are seeking an SEN Teacher to work on a part-time basis, 3 days per week.

The school is a 2-form entry, ‘Good' primary school that boasts a rich and well balanced, creative curriculum.

They have large outdoor areas for children to learn and play in with fantastic facilities for sports and extracurricular activities.

Behaviour across the school is excellent.

The senior leadership team have implemented effective and clear strategies that support pupils with SEND, ensuring that they achieve well and cared for at the highest standard.

For the Special Needs Teacher role, you will work in the ASD centre, with a group of 12 children with ASD, ADHD and behavioural needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be required to:

• Plan, prepare and teach lessons in the ASD Centre.


• Be able to write clear pupil reports, targets, annual reviews and EHCP's


• Adapt teaching and learning to meet the needs of each individual child


• Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression


• Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school

The ideal candidate for the SEN Teacher role will have:

• Experience as a Special Needs Teacher, ideally within primary settings


• A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year


• UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS


• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service


• Right to work in the UK
