Location: Tower Hamlets
Daily Rate: £100 - £125 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Full-Time - Term Time Only

A warm and inclusive primary school nursery setting in Tower Hamlets is seeking a committed and nurturing Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a full-time, term-time only basis.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced staff to support the development, wellbeing, and early learning of children aged 3-4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practitioner looking to work in a school-based nursery setting with excellent facilities and a child-centred approach.

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as:

• NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education


• BTEC National Diploma in Children's Play, Learning and Development


• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development


• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)


• Or another DfE-recognised equivalent Level 3 qualification

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children


• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework


• Support the development of children's social, emotional, communication, and physical skills


• Monitor and record observations to track children's progress and inform next steps


• Develop strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues


• Contribute to planning meetings and help maintain an organised and well-resourced classroom


• Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times


• Support children's independence, including during toileting, mealtimes, and transitions


• Work collaboratively with the nursery teacher and Early Years team

Additional Information:

• This is a long-term, full-time role based in a nursery class within a mainstream primary school


• You must have experience working in a nursery or early years environment


• A clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required (or willingness to apply)


• Excellent communication, patience, and a passion for Early Years education are essential


• Ideal for practitioners looking to gain experience in a school-based setting with potential for career progression
