
Inside Sales Representative
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Carboline Global Inc.
is looking for an Inside Sales Representative.
This position will be responsible for selling company products & services within the assigned sales territory by contacting established customers as well as developing new prospects.
This individual must have willingness to develop knowledge of the product lines represented, related services, and company policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of individual sales experience.
- Preferred: Previous industrial sales experience within the coatings industry.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours a day.
No unusual environmental, lifting, or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
May require travel.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for calling new and existing customers to build sales volume, regain lost customers and business, and assess market trends.
- Calls on customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc., and provides technical assistance when necessary.
- Responsible for securing and renewing orders.
- Builds and maintains a sales program within the region based on strategic planning to include prospecting, new business development, levels of available business, and level of repeat business.
- Update and maintain data quality inside CRM tool (Salesforce).
- Works effectively with all company personnel and resources to assure continuing customer satisfaction.
- Applies good judgment and prompt follow-through on customer complaints, returns, claims, or other problems on products/services provided.
- Gathers and reports significant developments within accounts, prospects, competitors, and the general market for use by company management in research, analysis, and planning purposes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provides annual sales detail on target markets and accounts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
