Debt Recovery Fee Earner

Sacco Mann are recruiting for a Debt Recovery Fee Earner to join a leading law firm based in Leeds.

The firm are well known for their work within commercial debt litigation, they have a great reputation locally and regionally and are an employer of choice within the debt recovery sector.

This position sits in the non-contested litigation team and will involve handling litigated commercial debt matters from the point of issue through to judgment.

The Role

Joining the team, you will manage your own volume caseload of litigated commercial debts.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of commercial debt cases


• Dealing with issuing of proceedings and mediation


• Reviewing income and expenditure forms


• Agreeing payment arrangements


• Instructing counsel


• Requesting judgement


• Submitting relevant documents


• Liaising with debtors and dealing with enforcement

About You

• You will have upwards of 12 months litigation experience including previous experience within debt.


• Ability to work under pressure.


• Excellent client communication skills


• Strong organisational skills.


• Good initiative.
