Production Associate - Brooklyn Park

JOB DESCRIPTION



Hours:

  • 1st shift = Mon-Thur, 5:45am-4:15pm
  • 2nd shift = Mon-Thur, 4pm-2:30am
Pay: $21/hour
  • Shift premium of .75/hour for 2nd shift
Job Description:
  • Operate machinery used in the production process.

  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.

  • Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.

  • Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using motorized equipment.

  • Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
  • Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.

  • Mark or tag identification on parts.

  • Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.

  • Clean and lubricate equipment.
  • Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes cartons, glue, ink, labels, etc...
