Job Title: Head Sommelier – Luxury 5 Star Hotel - Buckinghamshire

Salary: Up to £50,000 + service & benefits

I am currently recruiting a Head Sommelier to join this luxury hotel in Buckinghamshire.

We are looking for a passionate and professional Sommelier to head the department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to work for this luxury hotel group.

About the position

• Create and manage an unrivaled wine cellar
• Train and develop the staff’s palate with your knowledge
• Deliver fantastic service to the guests
• Work closely with all departments to ensure the best results are met
• Host and direct memorable wine events
• Undertake monthly stock takes
• Manage margins and promotions
• Report to the Restaurant Manager

The successful candidate

• Will have previous Sommelier experience in fine dining
• A high level of customer service
• WSET 3 or CMS qualification required
• Strong knowledge and a passion for fine dining
• Well organised with great attention for detail
