Our client, a highly respected global maritime authority, is seeking a Qualified and Motivated Marine Investigator to join their investigations department.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile marine safety cases involving internationally registered vessels, contributing directly to the protection of seafarers, ships, and the marine environment.

What will you be doing?

  Lead and manage marine casualty investigations from on-scene response to final reporting.

  Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and perform detailed root cause analyses.

  
  


• 
  

  Draft high-quality, compliant investigation reports with targeted safety recommendations.

  
  


• 
  

  Represent the organisation in industry forums, presenting findings and safety insights.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with global stakeholders to identify and implement safety improvements.

  
  

Are you the ideal candidate?

• 
  

  Maritime academy graduate with senior Deck or Engineering license.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 10 years' shipboard operational experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of IMO Casualty Investigation Code and international maritime instruments.

  
  


• 
  

  Skilled in root cause analysis, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement.

  
  


• 
  

  Confident leader with proven investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
