Junior Sous Chef – Private Members Club | NYC | $70K–$80K
A luxury private members club in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join a world-class culinary team spanning French-Mediterranean, Latin American, Japanese, and elevated American cuisine.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, menu execution, and service
- Lead by example while motivating and mentoring the brigade
- Ensure consistency in presentation, flavor, and adherence to recipes
- Maintain top-tier standards in cleanliness, safety, and food handling
- Contribute to seasonal menu development and sourcing top-quality ingredients
What You Bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in fine dining kitchens
- NYC Food Protection Certificate
- Professional demeanor and leadership skills in a high-volume environment
- Passion for culinary innovation and precision
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
