As the business enters its next growth phase, they are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join on a contract basis, leading the finance function and supporting key strategic initiatives.

Role Overview:
This contract role will oversee all core finance operations, management reporting, and planning activities.

Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Finance will provide commercial insight and leadership while ensuring robust financial control across a dynamic, product-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  Lead the finance team and deliver timely and accurate reporting across the group

• 
  

  Own the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes

• 
  

  Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary

• 
  

  Business partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain to support performance delivery

• 
  

  Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and risk management

• 
  

  Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management

• 
  

  Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and advisors

• 
  

  Support commercial projects including international expansion and product launches

• 
  

  Improve financial systems and reporting processes as the business scales

Candidate Profile:

• 
  

  ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experience

• 
  

  Proven success in a senior finance role within retail, FMCG, cosmetics, or other product-based industries

• 
  

  Solid technical accounting knowledge with strong commercial understanding

• 
  

  Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams

• 
  

  Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems

• 
  

  Confident communicator, comfortable working at both strategic and hands-on levels
