Job Responsibilities

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:




  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with special educational needs




  • Assist teachers with planning, preparing resources, and delivering differentiated activities




  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development




  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment




  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents as a professional SEN Teaching Assistant




Qualifications/Experience

To succeed as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN in primary schools is desirable




  • Strong communication skills, patience, and a supportive approach
