About the Role/School:

A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

The school is located in Central Somers Town and offers a vibrant learning environment for children aged 3 to 11.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students with special educational needs access the curriculum and feel confident in their learning.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Support children with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one or small group basis.




  • Assist with the planning and delivery of individual learning plans for SEN students.




  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages students' social and academic development.




  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor the progress and well-being of students.




  • Assist with behavioural management, promoting positive behaviour and supporting students with emotional and social needs.




  • Provide feedback to teachers and parents, contributing to the overall development of students.




Qualifications/Experience:


  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).




  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support (preferred but not essential).




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.




  • Right to work in the UK.
