As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a child with Autism who is non-verbal.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create a nurturing environment that enables the child to access learning and social opportunities.

  Provide 1:1 support as an SEN Teaching Assistant for a child with Autism who is non-verbal.

  Monitor and record the child's progress as an SEN Teaching Assistant.

  Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.

  Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

  Right to work in the UK.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work as part of a team and independently as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
