Receptionist
Job Description:
Our client, a well-established law firm based in Edinburgh, is seeking a Receptionist to join their front-of-house team.
This is a new role and a fantastic opportunity to become the first point of contact for clients and visitors, while supporting the smooth running of a busy professional office.
Previous front of house experience would be beneficial along with strong customer service skills and experience.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a professional office or customer-facing environment.
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and use initiative.
- Confident IT user, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Accurate typing skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A professional, proactive and personable approach.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide a professional and friendly welcome to clients and visitors, ensuring an excellent first impression of the firm.
- Manage reception services, including meeting room bookings, and handling incoming calls and enquiries.
- Coordinate travel and related logistics for staff as required.
- Support colleagues with general administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
- Collaborate with another experienced Receptionist, ensuring consistent and high-quality front-of-house support.
