An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive primary academy in Twickenham, starting in November.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access the school's broad, well-sequenced curriculum which includes art, music, languages, and computing.

Job Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans.
Support pupils' emotional, social, and academic development.
Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion within the classroom.
Assist in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Uphold the school's values of respect, curiosity, and resilience in all areas of work.

Qualifications/Experience
Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
A strong understanding of supporting pupils with a range of needs (e.g.
ASD, ADHD, speech and language, or emotional needs).
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
Right to work in the UK.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
