Quality Engineer

A Quality Engineer is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Hampshire, contributing to the delivery of high-quality electronic products and the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes within a fast-growing OEM supporting cutting-edge industries.

The Quality Engineer, Hampshire, will play a key role across the full product lifecycle, from supplier selection through to final inspection, ensuring that all products meet IPC-A-610, ISO9001 and other industry standards.

You'll work closely with production, engineering, and supplier teams to maintain exceptional quality levels and drive improvements throughout the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing production quality standards and technician training


• Conducting first article inspections and managing non-conformances


• Supporting design reviews, validation, and verification of new products


• Managing customer complaints, audits, and satisfaction reporting


• Liaising with suppliers to resolve material issues and improve quality


• Maintaining and improving the Business Management System and leading internal audits

The Quality Engineer, Hampshire, will have the following key skills:

• Experience in a Quality Engineering role within electronics or high-tech manufacturing


• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, ISO9001, and related quality standards


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills


• Hands-on experience with inspection of electronic/mechanical assemblies


• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
