Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Coventry

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 p.a

About the Role
We are urgently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our clients growing precision engineering team.

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of dimensional accuracy through manual measurements and advanced CMM inspection.

This is a hands-on position ideal for a Quality Inspector who thrives on precision and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed inspections using manual measurement tools and CMM equipment
- Conduct inspections of precision components using manual and CMM machines with Aberlink, Mitutoyo, MODUS, PC-DMIS or similar software
- Read and interpret engineering drawings while applying GD&T principles
- Support production teams to maintain consistent quality and tolerance control
- Document results accurately and assist in continuous improvement processes

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a precision engineering environment
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T principles
- Skilled in operating CMM systems and manual inspection tools
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and willingness to contribute within a team
