I'm hiring on behalf of a well-known mountain resort in the stunning Teton region, looking for a talented Pastry Sous Chef to join their dynamic culinary team.
In this role, you'll help lead pastry operations across multiple outlets—creating beautifully executed desserts, baked goods, and specialty items that enhance the guest experience.
You’ll work closely with the Executive Sous Chef to maintain high standards and support team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day pastry production, from prep through service
- Mentor and support the pastry team with a hands-on, professional approach
- Ensure consistency, quality, and creativity in all pastry offerings
- Oversee inventory, ordering, sanitation, and kitchen organization
- Assist in planning and executing seasonal menus and event-specific desserts
Ideal Background:
- 2+ years in a pastry or bakery leadership role
- Fine dining or upscale resort experience is a plus
- Strong pastry fundamentals and eye for detail
- Culinary or pastry degree preferred; food safety certification a bonus
- Passionate about the pastry craft and fostering a strong kitchen culture
