CNC Miller
Location: Andover
Salary: £15 – £20 per hour (DOE)
Overview We’re supporting a growing precision engineering business in Andover as they continue to expand their machining team.

With a brand-new automotive contract and long-term investment in modern equipment, this is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller / Setter-Operator looking for stability, quality work, and a company that values traditional engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

- Set and operate CNC milling machines (Mazak, Heidenhain or Fanuc)
- Edit and adjust existing programs to meet precision requirements
- Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances
- Complete in-process and final quality inspections
- Meet production targets while maintaining accuracy
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth workflow
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Requirements

- Able to set/operate on Mazak, Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
- Comfortable with offsets, tooling changes, and editing programs
- Strong understanding of machining practices and materials
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Quality-focused mindset with solid problem-solving ability
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
