We are looking for a Senior Social Worker for a Children With Disabilities Team

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

The Children with Disabilities Social Work Team provides support to children and young people with disabilities and their families.

The team's primary goal is to promote the wellbeing, safety, and development of each child by ensuring they have access to the right opportunities and care.

Working within a multi-agency framework, the team collaborates closely with health professionals, education providers and therapists to deliver coordinated, child-centred support.

Social workers within the team carry out assessments under the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014 (for transition planning), ensuring that each child's individual needs, strengths, and aspirations are fully understood.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' post qualified experience is essential in order to be considered for this role.

A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
