Job Responsibilities

As the Primary Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:




  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum, promoting academic excellence and personal development.




  • Embedding the school's values programme in daily teaching and pupil interactions.




  • Supporting pupils' spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development in line with the school ethos.




  • Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.




  • Promoting positive behaviour, respect, and resilience in the classroom and wider school community.




  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and leadership to maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.




  • Contributing to school improvement initiatives as an engaged Primary Class Teacher.




  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing feedback to support learning.




  • Acting as a role model for students, staff, and the wider community as a professional Primary Class Teacher.





Qualifications / Experience

To be considered for this Primary Class Teacher role, you will need:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)




  • Strong classroom practice and curriculum knowledge




  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




  • Commitment to inclusive education and character development




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
