We are recruiting a SEN Teacher to join a supportive and well-established specialist education setting in East London.

This is a full-time opportunity working with pupils who require tailored learning approaches and consistent, nurturing support.

The successful SEN Teacher will be joining a dedicated team with a strong emphasis on inclusion, structure, and positive outcomes for all learners.

Job Responsibilities
The SEN Teacher will be responsible for:

  Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual needs

  Managing classroom behaviour using positive behaviour strategies

  
  


• 
  

  Working closely with support staff and external professionals

  
  


• 
  

  Assessing progress and adapting teaching accordingly

  
  


• 
  

  Creating a safe, engaging and structured learning environment

  
  

The SEN Teacher will play a key role in helping pupils develop both academically and socially.

Qualifications/Experience
We are looking for a committed SEN Teacher who can demonstrate:

  Experience working within SEND or specialist education settings

  
  


• 
  

  Strong behaviour management and trauma-informed practice

  
  


• 
  

  The ability to adapt learning to meet a variety of complex needs

  
  


• 
  

  A patient, resilient, and positive approach to teaching

  
  


• 
  

  Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

  
  


• 
  

  Right to work in the UK
