Project Manager Salary: £40-42k

They are growing, investing and working on genuinely exciting new product development projects.

As the Project Manager, you will take full ownership of New Product Introduction activity, guiding each project from early scope and specification right through to series production.

You will be the person who keeps everything on track, on cost and on quality, working closely with engineering, operations, sales and quality to get products delivered exactly as promised.

What you will be doing as the Project Manager

 • Leading NPI projects through the full product life cycle
 • Making sure your projects hit key milestones on time, on cost and on quality
 • Keeping the cross functional teams aligned and motivated
 • Reporting progress, managing risk and keeping stakeholders informed
 • Working with engineering and operations to deliver manufacturable, robust solutions
 • Supporting KPI reporting and continuous improvement activities
 • Occasionally visiting customers or suppliers when required
 • Maintaining strong safety and compliance standards

What the company is looking for in a Project Manager

 • Formal project management qualification or proven project management background
 • Experience delivering multiple projects within a fast paced manufacturing environment
 • Engineering degree preferred, although other relevant degrees considered
 • Exposure to electrical, electromechanical or motion control systems is a bonus
 • Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
 • Confident problem solver with a methodical approach
 • Able to manage conflict, motivate teams and keep deadlines moving
 • Comfortable using MRP systems and competent with IT
 • Clear written and verbal communication in English
