Facade Designer

We are seeking an experienced Façade Designer to join our Hampshire office on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role involves office-based work alongside regular site visits to manage surveys, drawings, and quality assurance across multiple projects.

Location: Hampshire (with site visits 3-4 days per week)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, monitor, and revise assigned façade drawings using relevant company specifications

• Conduct site surveys, capturing measurements and photographs to produce accurate drawings

• Liaise with Estimating, Commercial, Site Management, and other internal teams to track design and quality issues

• Coordinate with manufacturers, external structural engineers, and architects as required

• Respond to technical queries and make recommendations to resolve design or site problems

• Assist with site inspections to ensure works meet technical quality standards and specifications

• Ensure information is available for site set-up from project commencement to completion

• Support the Design & Quality Manager in training and advising site management and subcontractors

• Monitor KPIs for site management and subcontractors

• Attend site and project meetings as needed

• Maintain and pass updated subcontractor information to procurement and ordering teams

• Collate documentation for compliance with relevant standards for client and funder handovers

Requirements:

• Engineering or architecture-related studies or equivalent industry experience

• Façade design experience including EWI, cladding, and rainscreen systems

• Basic CSCS card

• Competent AutoCAD user (3D AutoCAD essential; SketchUp or Revit optional)

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project Probe

• Strong communication, organisation, and coordination skills
