Steel Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fitter to join the team on a short-term contract basis working for a steel contractor.

Location: Dunstable, Bedfordshire
Rate: £26 an hour
Start Date: Tuesday 24th February
Contract Longevity: 2-3 weeks
Parking: Available

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of purlins and side rails


• Working at height using access equipment


• Ensuring steelwork is installed safely and in line with drawings


• Assisting with general steel erection duties as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fitter


• Experience installing purlins and side rails


• IPAF 3a and 3b (Scissor and Boom)


• Able to work safely at height


• SDS Drill, Grinder and Impact Drill tools


• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English across all levels
