Automotive Service Advisor – Reading

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum + Bonus (OTE circa £37,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings - 8am to Midday

My client is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a friendly, professional commercial vehicle workshop in Reading.

Responsibilities As an Automotive Service Advisor, your role will include:

- Handling customer calls and service bookings
- Scheduling work to maximise workshop efficiency
- Maintaining the vehicle service planner
- Processing invoices and handling cash payments
- Providing customers with updates on repair progress

Requirements The ideal Automotive Service Advisor will:

- Have previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry
- Be confident communicating with customers and the workshop team
- Be computer literate, with knowledge of MS Office
- Kerridge/ADP system experience advantageous but not essential
