Automotive Strip Fitter

Key responsibilities:
, stripping vehicles prior to repair
, removing and refitting panels, trim and components
, identifying additional damage and reporting to the workshop controller or vda
, ensuring parts are stored, labelled and refitted correctly
, working closely with panel and paint teams to meet repair deadlines
, maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:
, previous experience as a strip fitter or met technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
, good knowledge of vehicle components and repair processes
, ability to follow manufacturer repair methods
, strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
, ability to work independently and as part of a team
