Production Shift Manager – Packaging

Location: Bradford
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts – 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production Shift Manager to join our clients packaging operation.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe running of production during your assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead production teams to meet daily output, quality, and efficiency targets
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and company procedures
• Monitor production performance and address issues promptly to minimise downtime
• Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to achieve production plans
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Communicate effectively with other shift managers, maintenance, and senior management

About You:

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory/management role
• Background in packaging or injection moulding is highly desirable
• Strong people-management and leadership skills
• Able to work rotating shifts (6–2 / 2–10)
• Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
• Good organisational and communication skills
