Are you an experienced Auto Electrician looking for a new opportunity? We are recruiting for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Consett, working on the maintenance and repair of buses for one of the UK’s leading nationwide bus providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on buses, including wiring, batteries, lighting, and control systems

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of electrical systems

- Complete electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades as required

- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards

- Work collaboratively with a team of experienced engineers and technicians

About You:

- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (commercial vehicles or buses preferred)

- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic methods

- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical manuals

- Awareness of health and safety regulations within the automotive sector

- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop
