Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join this world leading manufacturer of Human Machine Interfaces, based in Newark.

The position of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be part of a strong team of 4, developing prototypes to production, and using your experience and knowledge to shape the product.

The ideal candidate will be conscientious, innovative and have a desire to become an expert in this field.

Requirements of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job based in Newark:

• Solid understanding and experience regarding commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection-moulding and CNC milling.


• Proficient user of SolidWorks


• Experience of Interfacing with customers


• Experience with full design lifecycle including design reviews and the stage gate process or similar


• Confident in the design, development and testing of electro-mechanical products


• Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree
