Material and Production Planner

A world leader in high-technology systems is seeking a Material & Production Planner based in Towcester

My client is a well-established manufacturer of mission-critical rugged embedded systems, supplying leading defence, aerospace and industrial organisations.

You'll play a key role in planning, MRP, inventory control and production scheduling within a low/medium volume, high-mix manufacturing environment, supporting complex and high-reliability products

Key responsibilities for this Material & Production Planner role based in Towcester:

• Run MRP in SAP, managing forecasts, sales orders and production schedules


• Manage inventory across multiple stores, driving stock optimisation


• Support SMT scheduling, NPI, ECNs and BOM updates


• Contribute to supply chain improvements and mentor junior planners

Key requirements for this Material & Production Planner role based in Towcester:

• Proven material/production planning experience in manufacturing


• Strong SAP, MRP and Excel skills


• Methodical, deadline-driven and confident working to KPIs
