Job Responsibilities
As a Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop planning and share best practice
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities
Promote high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development
The successful Year 4 Class Teacher will be committed to maintaining high standards and fostering a love of learning in every pupil.
Qualifications/Experience
The ideal Year 4 Class Teacher will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (desirable)
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
