Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity within a Primary School? We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Ashford, Kent on a full-time basis.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils and helping them reach their full potential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support across the curriculum.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stages, working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required.

The school is looking for a confident Teaching Assistant who can build strong relationships, promote positive behaviour, and contribute to a stimulating classroom environment.


The ideal Teaching Assistant will be adaptable, organised, and committed to supporting both academic progress and personal development.



Job Responsibilities


  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons




  • Provide small group and 1:1 interventions




  • Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation




  • Support pupils with varying abilities to access the curriculum




  • Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment




  • Help monitor and track pupil progress





Qualifications/Experience


  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a Primary School setting




  • A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
