Job Responsibilities

As EYFS Teaching Assistants, you will:




  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging early years learning activities




  • Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support pupils' development




  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing EYFS environment




  • Support children's academic, social, and emotional development




  • Promote positive behaviour and model high expectations




  • Help with classroom preparation, observations, and learning resources




  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents





Qualifications/Experience

The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistants will have:




  • Experience working within an EYFS or primary school setting (desirable)




  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework




  • A patient, caring and proactive approach




  • Strong communication and teamwork skills




  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
