Full/Part-time: Full-time
Salary: £180 - £240 per day (depending on experience)

Teach Plus are working with a lovely 3-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest who are looking for a dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join their team from April (or sooner for the right candidate).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher who is looking for a supportive, welcoming school with a strong team culture.

The school has an approachable leadership team, well-behaved pupils, and a positive working environment where staff feel valued.

The school is also open to offering a choice of year groups, making this an ideal role for a Primary Class Teacher who has a preference for a particular key stage.

ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, with support available from experienced colleagues and a structured team around you.

As a Primary Class Teacher, you will be expected to:

  Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  
  


• 
  

  Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment

  
  


• 
  

  Assess, track and report on pupil progress

  
  


• 
  

  Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities, including SEND and EAL

  
  


• 
  

  Work collaboratively with year group partners and support staff in this 3-form entry setting

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to wider school life as a proactive member of staff

  
  

• 
  

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience teaching in a UK primary school (placements included for ECTs)

  
  


• 
  

  Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation

  
  


• 
  

  A passion for helping pupils achieve their best in a nurturing environment

  
  


• 
  

  Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

  
  


• 
  

  Right to work in the UK
