Assistant General Manager - Contemporary Premium Restaurant

Location: London
Salary: £55,000 - £58,000 plus bonus

The Role:

• Support the General Manager in leading a high-performing, high-volume premium restaurant
• Take ownership of front-of-house operations - from reservations and hosting through to pace, standards and guest experience
• Lead, coach and develop a large service team to deliver consistent, polished service
• Drive a positive culture on the floor - high standards, high energy, zero ego
• Support full P&L accountability, including labour control, forecasting and cost management
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless delivery across the business
• Maintain standards that protect the reputation of the brand and drive repeat trade

The Person:

• Currently operating as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager within a premium, high-turnover restaurant - £150k+ weekly revenue
• Strong commercial awareness with exposure to P&L and cost control
• Confident leading large teams in fast-paced, service-led environments
• Passionate about hospitality - quality food, quality drinks and genuine guest care
• Proven track record of improving performance, driving sales and building strong teams
• Calm under pressure, hands-on and visible on the floor
