A new ambitious hospitality concept in Amsterdam is preparing to open its doors.

Designed with precision and long-term vision, this restaurant will operate at a high culinary level with a strong emphasis on wine. 

I am seeking a Sommelier who will take ownership of the wine program from the very beginning.

This is a leading role within the guest experience — strategic, operational, and service-focused. 

The Role

• As Sommelier, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the wine vision of the restaurant.
  
  You combine floor presence with commercial awareness and strong product knowledge.
• Your responsibilities include:
• Building and managing a carefully curated wine list
• Advising guests with confidence and depth of knowledge
• Creating thoughtful wine pairings in collaboration with the kitchen
• Overseeing inventory management and supplier relationships
• Supporting and training the service team in wine knowledge

Profile

• We are looking for a hospitality professional who combines substance with presence.
• Demonstrated experience as a Sommelier in a premium dining environment
• Strong international wine knowledge with a solid technical foundation
• Commercially aware without being sales-driven
• Polished, composed, and confident in guest interaction
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
  
  French is a plus
• Able to translate wine into experience
