Salary: €60,000 - €90,000 gross per annum including bonus

I am working with a fast-growing, multi-site consumer business in the food sector that is entering an important phase of expansion.

As the business scales, there is a strategic focus on building a robust people function, standardizing operational practices, and ensuring culture, performance, and employee experience evolve alongside growth.

As People Director, you will lead the human capital strategy and act as a key advisor to senior leadership on workforce, culture, and organizational design.

You will build scalable People operations, standardize processes across locations, and drive initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and performance in a high-growth environment.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can operate across both strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute people strategy aligned with business growth.
• Lead recruitment strategy across operational and corporate functions.
• Embed company values into the employee lifecycle and culture initiatives.
• Design onboarding, engagement, and retention programs.
• Develop competitive and culturally aligned total rewards and benefits frameworks.
• Standardize HR policies, processes, and governance across locations.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
• Mentor and develop the internal People team.

Requirements

• Relevant university degree in fields such as business, psychology, law, or related disciplines; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience leading people strategy at Director or Head of People level within fast-paced, multi-location organizations.
• Background in consumer-facing, hospitality, retail, or similar operational environments is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
• Strong balance of strategic thinking and operational execution.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
