Extra Works Supervisor

 Monday – Friday | 40 hours per week | 08:00 – 17:00 (flexible)

COREcruitment are working with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an Extra Works Supervisor for a high-profile contract.

This is a hands-on, site-based role combining contractor supervision, client liaison and administration, with responsibility for managing and delivering additional works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

• Manage and supervise the extra works programme on site
• Take instruction from the client and scope works with the supply chain
• Produce written quotations for additional works
• Act as a customer-facing point of contact
• Supervise contractors in line with company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9002 quality management systems
• Support reactive repairs and planned maintenance activity
• Ensure Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place for all works
• First-line supervision of specialist service contractors, including inductions
• Manage Permit to Work systems, authorisations and escorts
• Maintain site logbooks, records and compliance documentation
• Support stock control and raise quotations via Webquote
• Be available for on-call escalation when required
• Attend site and project meetings and provide regular updates

About You

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook – intermediate to advanced)
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail
• A-Level, HNC/D, Degree or equivalent qualification
• Previous customer-facing experience
• Professional, reliable and discreet
• Calm under pressure with changing priorities
