Our client is a global consulting and technology organization developing enterprise platforms for large-scale financial and tax operations.

They are currently looking for a Senior Python Engineer with AI expertise to support the evolution of a major tax processing platform used by PwC US teams.

Skills and Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience developing Python applications.


• Strong Python development skills with modern frameworks such as FastAPI.


• Experience working with SQL Server and ORM frameworks.


• Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Function Apps, Blob Storage, Kubernetes, and Service Bus.


• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing patterns.


• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and AI services.


• Practical experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions.


• Experience with prompt engineering and structured LLM outputs.


• Experience debugging and optimizing AI-generated code.


• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.


• Familiarity with LLMOps/AIOps concepts, including evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, drift detection, and guardrails.


• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Python services supporting AI-driven capabilities.


• Integrate LLM APIs and AI-driven features into enterprise backend systems.


• Implement RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems for tax-related data processing.


• Work with SQL Server databases and ORM frameworks to build reliable data models.


• Develop APIs that integrate with the existing .NET and Angular-based enterprise platform.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable architecture.


• Debug, optimize, and improve AI-generated code and system performance.


• Contribute to AI evaluation frameworks and continuous improvement of AI-powered systems.
