Nursery Manager required for a private Nursery and Preschool in near Gosport.

This is a large busy nursery with over 100 children, 0-5 years old and is open 51 weeks a year.

Our client believes in providing a safe and enabling environment for all children to reach their full potential.

Important Information

Salary £40,000- £45,000

Hours - 40 hours a week - The Nursery is open from 7am-6pm

Essential Criteria

• Minimum Level 3 qualification


• Paediatric First Aid (full)


• Previous experience as nursery manager


• Experience leading and motivating a team, with excellent proactive team engagement and involvement


• Previous experience managing income and expenditure budget

• A Nursery Manager with previous experience and a hands on , can do attitude


• A driven and nurturing personality who wants the best for the children and team


• Strong knowledge of Early Years


• Appropriate qualification is essential


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to write and maintain clear records


• Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance


• Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
