Social Care Worker - Wicklow

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting motivated and compassionate Social Care Workers to join one of our HSE residential and day services teams in in Wicklow and surrounding areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a person-centred service, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives within their community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support
• Assist individuals with daily living skills and personal care
• Support service users in achieving their personal goals and outcomes
• Promote independence, inclusion, and community engagement
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and care documentation
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and safeguarding policies

Essential Criteria

• QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care or a related discipline
• Eligible for or registered with CORU
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Full clean driving licence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good IT and report writing ability
