About the Role
A well-established and respected construction contractor is seeking a Buyer to join their growing team in Maidstone.
This is a great opportunity for someone with construction procurement experience (or looking to step up) to play a key role in supporting project delivery across a varied portfolio including commercial, residential, and heritage works.

Key Responsibilities
Procuring materials, plant, and subcontract services
Managing supplier relationships and negotiating best value
Raising purchase orders and tracking deliveries
Ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards
Supporting project teams with timely procurement
Monitoring market trends and sourcing new suppliers
Working closely with commercial and site teams

Requirements
Previous experience in a Buyer / Procurement role (construction preferred)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of construction materials and supply chain
Organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
