We are a growing timber window and door installation business based in South East London, working on high-quality residential projects across London and the South East.

Our work ranges from full installations to remedial and service works, and we pride ourselves on high standards of workmanship and customer care.

What We Offer

• Salary £30,000 – £35,000 per year (PAYE)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Fitter’s Mate to support our lead fitters on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone practical and keen to learn.

Carpentry experience is preferred but not essential — attitude, reliability, and willingness to develop are more important.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting lead fitters with window and door installations
• Supporting general site tasks and preparation
• Handling and moving materials safely
• Basic handyman and carpentry assistance
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Working in occupied residential properties
• Communicating politely and professionally with customers on site

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Own van preferred but not essential
• Carpentry or handyman experience preferred but not essential
• Practical mindset and willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Comfortable working as part of a small team
• Good communication skills
