Working pattern: Fully onsite


An innovative engineering organisation operating within the marine and defence sectors is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join their growing team.

Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for producing high-quality machined components, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:
, CNC milling with a hands-on approach
, Heidenhain programming
, Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
, Maintaining quality and 5S standards
, Working flexibly across machining disciplines when required


Candidate Requirements:
, Apprentice trained (preferred)
, 5+ years CNC machining & programming experience
, Heidenhain/ Mazak experience
, Knowledge of milling & turning techniques
, Experience working with materials such as Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron
, Understanding of Lean / 7 wastes / 5S

Desirable:
, Experience with composite materials
, Knowledge of modern cutting tools
