We're supporting a leading engineering business seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their night shift team.

The Role:
You'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines, ensuring high-quality output while meeting production deadlines and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
, Set and operate Mazak/Heidenhain CNC machines
, Read and interpret engineering drawings and G-code (ISO/Mazatrol)
, Maintain quality standards and 5S practices
, Work to set cycle times and deadlines
, Support continuous improvement (Lean / CI)
, Work flexibly across milling and turning when required
, Assist with cross-training and team development

Requirements:

, Offline programming (Edgecam/Mastercam)
, 5+ years CNC machining experience in manufacturing
, Experience with Mazak/Mazatrol controls
, Strong understanding of milling and turning
, Ability to read engineering drawings and CNC code
, Apprentice trained (preferred)
, Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and Health & Safety
