Children's Support Worker - Full Training Provided

I am looking for Support Workers with experience working with children and/or young adults in either education, residential care, youth work or youth justice.


My client is Devon County Council, who have ambitious growth plans and are looking for Support Workers to join their purpose-built children's home in Tiverton.


If you have experience within SEN education, youth work, fostering, or working with young offenders, this is a strong pathway into children's residential care.

  • £26,824 basic salary plus sleep-in allowance and add ons(OTE £31,000)

What you'll need:



  • Experience supporting children or young people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or behaviours that challenge

  • Background in settings such as SEN schools, youth work, youth justice, care leavers or semi-independent services, or children's residential homes

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this)

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
